Post by Glitter NinjaPost by Kevin S. WilsonPost by Glitter NinjaBut I can't even remember who all I killfiled
and why they're posting so much that 164 posts a day get leported.

IFYPFY.
Post by Glitter NinjaPost by Kevin S. WilsonI'm guessing that 160 of those posts can be attributed to the
painfully unfunn'i comedy duo Tim Breuning and Nemo. You aren't
missing anything.
Those are the puns, right? Nope, I'm seeing the pun threads, even if
not reading them. This is scary. I'm not seeing many of Kibo's posts,
though. Any chance he's posting "Penis Enlargement" threads 160 times a
day?
Hm. Matthew noticed last month how quiet it's been and now
you and I've noticed it as well. I did some poking around
and found some numbers which don't cut and paste very well
so for the entire chart you can go to:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/alt.religion.kibology/about?hl=en
That will give you from 1991-2005 all the way through December of each
year.
A portion of that chart for 10 years from Jan-July shows:
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul
1996 1812 2354 1480 2137 2334 2964 2856
1997 3188 2576 4107 2323 2588 2063 1970
1998 2319 2340 2888 2703 3829 2473 2088
1999 3869 2998 4740 4331 4566 3836 5126
2000 3791 3263 3390 3107 4607 4724 5623
2001 6340 4144 4799 3894 4660 4216 3773
2002 6771 6805 5528 5695 4831 4688 4057
2003 3942 2986 3277 3318 3502 3384 4042
2004 4374 3362 4752 3813 4195 3819 3253
2005 3633 3534 3772 2799 3872 4171 2852
The average is somewhere around *3633 posts for
July for 10 years, with that number being less
for this July than 2004 but more than July of
2003.
August numbers are 1445 but it's only the 12th.
* I'm tired so that could be way off but I don't
think so. Check it out for yourself anyway.
I then plugged July for 10 years into a barchart
and it looks like some sort of trend so I enlarged
the scale. I did that mainly because it pleased me to do so
but I also think it just looked better that way.
More symmetrical.
On that same site which has absolutely
nothing to do with the above but I like it anyway is
what it says "About this group" as a description

Now who can argue with that?!!
So while the trends are interesting I've absolutely
no idea what it means other than the fact that
the columns of numbers are maki.. MY EYES!
I've lost all the feeling in my EYES!
